The Little Crown Inn Guest Accommodation
Each of our 5 en-suite rooms has been uniquely designed to offer our guests homely comforts combined with modern amenities. With solid oak furniture and 100% cotton bedding, the rooms are luxurious, comfortable and stylish.
Each room has been named after a local colliery and is decorated with pictures and stories of its namesake, creating a special and thought-provoking experience for our guests.
Our accommodation prices are room only, and include all linen, house keeping, free Wi-Fi throughout the building and free parking.
Breakfast is available for a supplement and can be ordered upon arrival. We offer a continental breakfast including cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee, alongside a hot breakfast menu which includes a full Welsh/English breakfast and vegetarian options.
Tirpentwys
Tirpentwys is a double room situated at the rear of the building, overlooking the cycle track and contains an ensuite shower room. The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen television set up with Freeview, DVD player, writing desk and stool, alarm clock, mobile heater and additional blankets and pillows. Available on request are hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
Blaenserchan
Blaenserchan is a double room containing an ensuite bathroom with an overhead shower. The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen television set up with Freeview, DVD player, writing desk and stool, alarm clock, mobile heater and additional blankets and pillows. Available on request are hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
Llanerch
Llanerch is a twin room situated at the front of the building, overlooking the courtyard and contains an ensuite bathroom with an overhead shower. The Llanerch can accommodate an extra pull-out bed. The room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen television set up with Freeview, DVD player, writing desk and stool, alarm clock, mobile heater and additional blankets and pillows. Big Pit
Named after one of the larger local collieries, Big Pit is now the National Coal Museum for Wales and is well worth a visit! Big Pit is a king size room situated at the front of the building, overlooking the courtyard and contains an ensuite bathroom with an overhead shower. Big Pit can accommodate an extra pull-out bed. As you might have guessed, the Elled Level is named after the drift mine that used to be situated on the site that the Little Crown Inn now occupies! Elled Level is a double room situated at the rear of the building, overlooking the cycle track and contains an accessible shower room. The Elled Level can accommodate an extra pull-out bed.
